The 2024 edition of Ch[a]rita / السِّيس focused its research and interventions on the Palmeraie of Marrakech, investigating its unique oasitic systems, ecologies, and the associated infrastructures of water and the common. The project explored the city’s heritage through a critical lens, aiming to valorize and rethink these spaces for a diverse, intergenerational public.

By infiltrating once-common territories that have been compromised by gentrification, modernization, and climate change, Ch[a]rita sought to create symbolic « playgrounds » for collective reflection. This edition continued the program’s tradition of exploring the complex relationships between the city and its margins.
