Fondation Dar Belarj Située au cœur de la Médina de Marrakech
The Dar Bellarj Foundation is committed to preserving and sharing its rich heritage. It encourages its reuse through other memory-based and artistic initiatives, translating and presenting it as a common good, as part of a shared history expressed through its cultural project.
Supporting Artistic Creation and Craftsmanship
The Dar Bellarj Foundation is a place that fosters the development of artistic projects. Through artist residencies, projects created at the intersection of the arts and traditional know-how draw inspiration from the rich history of the place while remaining firmly rooted in the present and, above all, looking towards the future. Artists working in design, visual arts, performing arts, and other disciplines come here to share their poetic vision of the world with an increasingly diverse audience.
Knowledge Transmission
Because children and young people will shape the society of tomorrow, the Dar Bellarj Foundation has made it a priority to contribute to passing on knowledge to them and to provide opportunities for experimentation through workshops that encourage creativity and dialogue between the arts, sciences, and other fields. These workshops offer new ways of exploring life together and imagining the society of tomorrow.
Over time, it became essential to make the same workshops available to women, so that this exchange of knowledge could continue within families.
